We tried to get into Tinement Square, but they had congressional meetings going on. There were police and soldiers everywhere and lots of areas we could not go. So we went the forbidden city where the emperor use to live. It was a lot of walking, but a lot of history and amazing buildings.
We then went to a Tea Room where we tasted 5
different teas. Of course they had shops for you to buy the different teas,
pots and cups. They had really nice things, but not sure how much of it would
stay in one piece on the ride home. We drove past a big stadium where a soccer
match was getting ready to start. We saw all the vendors out on the street. We
then went to an acrobat show which had some amazing acts.
Lastly we took the family from New York to the restaurant
that we ate at last night because they had nice point at picture menus. We
pretty much ordered the same thing since it was good last night. Tomorrow we are
going to The Great Wall and hopefully it doesn’t rain too much.
You are doing a great job of keeping us updated....Thank you so much for the pics too!!! Have fun and cant wait till the next post!!!

Words from Keith Carter:
After the acrobat show, we bought a DVD which Mia used to love to sit and watch when she was little. After the Great Wall tour, whey will probably be taken to a “cloisonné” (not sure how to spell) factory. That is one spot where they should buy something since they may not see any more on the trip
