Breakfast buffet here is wonderful!! Lots of fresh fruit, and just about anything
else you can imagine. Typical western
type breakfast foods, but we could have also had a salad or Chinese food if we
wanted. It will have lots of great stuff
for Andrew also which is really nice.
This has been a really long morning! We are meeting our guide at 12:30 for lunch
and leaving at 14:30 to head to get Andrew (everything here is in 24-hour time
format just like Beijing). I think this
maybe the longest morning of our lives. Our
appointment is at 3:00pm then we have 1 ½ to 2 hours of paperwork. So those
back home hoping to see something on the blog in the early morning are going to
have to wait a little bit, sorry. There is a lot to watch out our windows though. We have seen lots of people playing badminton. We are watching lots of different groups doing all kinds of different exercises. We also saw a group that looked like they were ball room dancing. This is such a different culture and so cool to be able to see so much from our hotel room.
There were only 3 English speaking TV channels last night, but this morning there are about 15. They have free Wi-Fi internet in the lobby so we have been taking the laptop and phone down there. The internet is not real fast and the wireless isn’t very reliable. We will probably pay to use it in our room so we can Skype with Andrew in the near future!
more later....
so glad you're enjoying the culture! WAY second place next to Andrew, but I think that would be so exciting!
ReplyDeleteIt's gonna be a long night! Glad I get to sleep most of it away...the waiting is getting so hard! Can't imagine what you two are going through! Can't beleive you have yet more paperwork before you get to hold him...but in a few hours it will all be worth it!!'
